Glass cutting, snapping and grinding experience is essential for the lampshade-making course. If you are a beginner, or you wish to introduce a beginner to this course so that you and your friend can make your lampshades together, I offer a beginner’s ‘crash’ class for one session only, at the Goosehouse Studio.
I will introduce, at a very basic level, the skills and techniques you will need to make a simple copper foil lampshade or box.

Space is at a premium in my studio, so participant numbers for each session are strictly limited to six students. You must book ahead and you must honour that booking. Students need to give 48hours notice if unable to attend a pre-booked session.
