The cost for the six session lampshade making course is $295
All tools and safety equipment are included, as well as all copper foil, solder, patina, etc
All project-specific supplies, such as glass, harps, bases, and so on, are extra costs for this course
Please wear covered shoes and long pants for protection from glass shards
In this course you will build your very own stained glass three-dimensional work. Usually students create a stained glass lampshade, but you may choose to create a box or other object if you prefer.
The six sessions of this course can be attended at your own preferred pace. Complete them all in two weeks or space them out over six months - it is entirely your choice. These sessions are flexible but must be completed within the six month period.

This course is quite technical and all participants will need to have previous experience in the techniques of glass cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering. For those who don't have the techniques but would like to attend the course, I offer a one session 'Crash Course' in glass and copper foil basics. See menu for 'Copper foiling - Crash Course'.

Space is at a premium in my studio, so participant numbers for each session are strictly limited to six students. You must book ahead and you must honour that booking. Students need to give 48hours notice if unable to attend a pre-booked session.
