This beautiful ring is carefully crafted in miniature glass cubes with a centrepiece of millefiori, the Italian 'glass of a million flowers'. The tiny tesserae are securely grouted into an antique silver metal adjustable ring, giving strength and durability to your one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery. This funky ring is 17mm x 17mm and really comfortable to wear, as well as looking great!

Mosaic ring. Target Practice
The Goosehouse Designs Festival Collection of jewellery is created from affordable base metals such as zinc alloys, lead and nickel-free metals, pewter, bronze, copper, antique silver-tone metal, brass, etc
The drawback to zinc alloys and other non-precious metals is that they can easily deteriorate over time. They will tarnish more readily than preciouse metals, and may scratch easily. The surface can darken or become rough when not handled with care.
To best care for your Festival jewellery it is recommended that you be sure to clean it very gently After each use, wipe your zinc alloy/base metal jewelry clean with a soft cloth. A dedicated brass polishing cloth is a really good option. Metal cleaning cloths are impregnated with a polishing agent that will effectively remove small amounts of tarnish.
Remember, be gentle. Do not rub aggressively. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning cleaning products.
The leather thong upon which your pendant is hung is real leather. It is best to keep it as dry as possible when wearing it. If it does get wet, make sure it dries in a cool airy place before you put it away, otherwise it may mildew.
Always store your leather in a cool and dry place.
The vintage china I use in my jewellery pieces is all recycled from pieces found at garage sales and op. shops, or through vintage dealers, who are happy to pass on some of their less-than-perfect items. I carefully cut out the selected section of china, shape it by hand, then grind the edges nice and smooth. I securely fix the piece into the sterling silver blank, then grout it so it stays firmly in place.
As with all artisan jewellery, some care needs to be taken to keep your piece in as-new condition.
The vintage china in your piece may well be up to a hundred years old, and needs to be treated accordingly. It is not recommended that you swim or shower whilst wearing your jewellery, nor that you wear it gardening or playing sport or any other activity where the item may get badly knocked. China is breakable, after all.
The ring is easily adjustable, but care must be taken not to bend the ring band too quickly or too sharply. As with all metals, if they are worked roughly they may break.
The glass and ceramic pieces used in your mosaic jewellery are best cleaned gently with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or detergents.
