The Castillian Collection-Toledo, by Pontesa, is a line of vintage Spanish ironstone dinnerware manufactured in the late 1960s and 1970s. Ironstone is a type of dense, non-porous, pottery designed to be durable and resistant to chipping. Known for its durable construction and often featuring vibrant, hand-painted, or stylised floral patterns, this collection reflects mid-century Spanish design.
 
These double-dangly earrings are made from the sadness of a couple of fabulous ironstone plates that had met an unfortunate accident and were presented to me in a Tupperware full of small pieces.
 
As with all Goosehouse Designs jewellery, this unique jewellery is individually handcrafted by me in my studio. My upcycled, sustainable, broken china jewellery is crafted from ethically-sourced, pre-damaged, vintage china, that would otherwise end up in landfill. It is the perfect romantic gift for wedding anniversaries, birthdays, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day and any time you want to show your love through a treasured piece of artisan jewellery.
