Roslyn Fine Bone China was manufactured at the Park Place Works, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. The company was established in 1946, when the previous company of Reid and Co was incorporated ands the business name was changed to Roslyn China.
Roslyn China was well-known for producing quality dinnerware and, in particular, fine china tea sets. 
As part of rationalisation, the Roslyn China Company closed down in July 1963.
 
This jewellery is made from a single cup of a fine bone china tea set, decorated in the rare pattern No 7866, known as 'Alba'. 'Alba is a white background with a gorgeous yellow burst of crocus flowers, all beautifully highlighted with a gold trim. 
The 'Alba' pattern was manufactured during the 1950's.

My upcycled, sustainable, broken china jewellery is crafted from ethically-sourced, pre-damaged, vintage china, that would otherwise end up in landfill. The silver in this ring is sterling silver, and is stamped with the .925 stamp.
