Royal Doulton - Franklin Mint - Marty Noble
For five decades The Franklin Mint has produced and mass-marketed "collectibles.” Its product line began with manufacturing and marketing privately-minted gold and silver commemorative coins and medallions. Besides coins, other offerings included plates, in particular, the very popular Royal Doulton decorative plates.
Marty Noble is an American artist and illustrator. A series of her original artworks was used to create the limited edition Royal Doulton, Flower Maiden plates. This exquisite series of twelve designs features beautiful women in oriental settings, each surrounded by a bounty of flowers. The plates are richly detailed bone china, with gold trim throughout the design. The border of each plate is uniquely trimmed in the flower that bears the maiden's name.
The piece for this jewellery is from the gorgeous 'Princess of the Iris' design.
As with all Goosehouse Designs jewellery, this unique jewellery is individually handcrafted by me in my studio. My upcycled, sustainable, broken china jewellery is crafted from ethically-sourced, pre-damaged, vintage china, that would otherwise end up in landfill. It is the perfect romantic gift for wedding anniversaries, birthdays, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day and any time you want to show your love through a treasured piece of artisan jewellery.
Your Goosehouse Designs jewellery will be sent to you carefully wrapped and packaged using recycled and recyclable materials. I am committed, at all times, to operating my business in every way I can to be kinder and gentler to the planet.
